Babymoon /// usually taken in the second trimester. A romantic getaway for dad and mom to be. A chance to bond emotionally and physically before things get real.


Why Travel in 2nd trimester?


  • Morning sickness. Many pregnant moms suffer with morning sickness in the 1st trimester

  • Air travel becomes complicated & near impossible in the 3rd trimester

  • She's still into sex. In fact some women's hormones have turned in your favor and so she may want sex a whole lot more than before & possibly more than she'll want it in the 3rd trimester.

  • She's still comfortable. In the 3rd trimester many women start to feel uncomfortable and this can make them grouchy. Some poor ladies even suffer from back pain, cramps, haemorrhoids & the list goes on. So travel while she still feels like it.

  • Reward. You lovely lady has carried your baby like a champ for 3-4 months now. She's basically half way and deserves a reward. A reenergizing baby moon to keep her spirits up and body ready for the 2nd half of the race.

To Do List before your Babymoon


  1. Schedule a checkup with your obstetrician–gynaecologist (ob-gyn) before you leave

  2. Make sure you have all & any medications mother will need including a script if any are prescription.

  3. Make sure to purchase Travel Insurance - your plans may change!

  4. Make sure your Medical Insurance covers Travel. If not, invest in a good one for your trip - making sure it covers pregnancy related conditions, treatments & delivery in a foreign country.

  5. Get the details of the closest hospital or medical clinic and ob-gyn in the area you will be staying.
